hello, i am maleficent, the mistress of all evil. once i found out king stefan and queen leah had a darling little girl i knew i had to bring her a gift. so, since the king and i don't exactly see eye to eye, i cursed his beloved daughter so that on her sixteenth birthday she would prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die. however, one of the good fairies made sure the princess wouldn't die by giving her gift so that she wouldn't die but would be put in a heavy sleep awaiting true love's first kiss.
